Navigation & Canvas

Mastering canvas manipulation enables you to freely explore large logic circuits without disrupting your wiring flow.

• Pan Canvas: Hold Spacebar + Click and Drag
• Zoom In/Out: Scroll Mouse Wheel or trackpad two-finger scroll.
• Fit to Screen: Press Shift + 1 to immediately center your entire circuit on the screen.

Editing Shortcuts

Skip the toolbar menus and build at the speed of thought.

• Delete Node/Wire: Select an item and press Backspace or Delete.
• Duplicate: Select nodes and press Ctrl + D (or Cmd + D on Mac).
• Undo: Ctrl + Z (or Cmd + Z on Mac).
• Redo: Ctrl + Y (or Cmd + Shift + Z on Mac).
• Select All: Ctrl + A (or Cmd + A on Mac).

Selection Modes

Gately lets you mass-edit groups of logic gates faster with bulk selections.

• Box Select Mode: Hold Shift + Click and Drag across the canvas.
• Multi-Select: Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) while clicking individual gates.

Memorizing just Spacebar panning and Shift box selection will immediately elevate your productivity!
